I'm finally getting around to posting about Book Club again. Sandy M, Kim C and I had a great time talking about Uneasy Fortunes. Sandy filled us in on the true story behind the events that inspired this book. I hope to see you all at our the next book club meeting. Wendy P has chosen a book about missionary work. Stay tuned for the title. So mark your calendars for Thursday May 23rd at 7:30 pm.

Book Club is only 12 days away. I hope you've all had a chance to read Uneasy Fortunes by Mandi Ellsworth. I still have 2 copies so let me know if you need one. I just finished the book a few days ago. I thought it was a sweet love story that everyone could enjoy. Be at my house on March 26th at 7:30 pm. More is always merrier so bring your friends. We'll have a great night of good company, fun conversation and fabulous food. ;-) Thanks Ladies!

I'm excited for our first book club meeting. We will meet March 26th at 7:30 pm at Sarah R.'s house. The book for March is "Uneasy Fortunes" by Mandi Ellsworth.
Battered by his past, Pete knows he has no business falling for anyone. But when time can't heal a wound, love steps in to make it right. Inspired by a true story of the post---Civil War South, this gentle rustic romance will pull you in from the first page and leave you with a renewed hope in the power of real love.

I'm super excited to start Book Club again. I truly hope that it will be something everyone feels welcome to come to and excited about attending. I'm not much of a blogger so this will be pretty simple. I'm hoping to keep this blog up to date with a calendar of where, when, and what. I'm also hoping to have a suggested reads list. Books that you all enjoyed but that we didn't get to read for book club. Please let me know what I can add that would make this blog better. Thanks everyone!
